The swimwear collection “That’s My Sea” made from elastic quick-drying Econyl fabric is dedicated to the landscape of the Ukrainian Sea.
It maintains color 100%, has guaranteed resistance to chlorine and UPF 50+ sun exposure.
Econyl is a recycled polyamide material that is lightweight, strong, and quick-drying. It is made by recycling plastic and can be recycled again and again without losing quality.
Econyl has the same strength and durability as regular polyamide. It is elastic, lightweight, soft to the touch, requires no special care, and retains its shape well. Products made from Econyl maintain color 100% and have guaranteed resistance to chlorine and UPF 50+ sun exposure.
Producing 10,000 tons of Econyl saves 70,000 barrels of crude oil, prevents 57,100 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and reduces the impact on climate change. The use of Econyl conserves natural resources and saves the planet from tons of plastic waste.
Econyl production does not require the use of new natural resources. It is made by recycling plastic collected from the ocean.
Divers collect plastic waste from the ocean and sea, which is then transported to a factory, where it is sorted, cleaned, and processed into pellets that are used to create Econyl fibers at temperatures above 300 degrees Celsius.
