This scarf carries the words of Natalia Livytska-Kholodna, who lived to 102 and wrote some of the most passionate Ukrainian poetry of the last century. Daughter of the exiled President of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and a bright star of the “Prague School,” she wrote bold, sensual, modernist verses that challenged the conservative 1930s.
